Known as Brandon to his friends, Presley kept in touch with his teachers from the North Delta School, even while he was stationed overseas, principal John Howell said. "The neat thing that made him stand out for those of us who taught him was the way he made a point to reconnect with us periodically," Howell said. "Often, when you teach, you have to guess at the work that you're doing. But Brandon let us know that he appreciated us, and that made him stand out more than other students I have taught." Presley had a flair for writing and was a lineman for his high school's 2000 state football championship team when won the Class 3A title. He graduated in 2002 and had taken some college classes online while overseas.

HEALY, SISTER COLETTE, RCD Sister Colette Healy, RCD, died on February 6, at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, NY in the 65th year of her life as a Sister of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine. She was born in New York City, April 15, 1922 and named Josephine, the third daughter born to Mary Egan and Dennis Healy. She graduated from Washington Irving High School in Tarrytown, NY in 1940 and entered the Sisters of Our of Christian Doctrine at Marydell Convent in Nyack, New York on February 2, 1941. She made profession of perpetual vows September 14, 1946.

Sister Colette began her studies at Manhattan College and later earned her Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University. She spent many years working in missions in Florida and South Carolina as an assistant Kindergarten Teacher, a Religion Teacher and Home Visitor. She was also a Catechist in numerous parishes in Rockland County and New York City. From 1976 to 1993 she was the assistant Librarian at St. Brigid's School in the lower East Side of Manhattan.

She spent more than ten summers on the staff at Marydell Camp in Nyack, New York. After retiring in 1993 she did volunteer work at St. Cabrini Hospital in New York City and on Valentine's Day in 1996 was named "Sweetheart Volunteer of the In March of 2000 Sister Colette returned to Nyack. She was an active participant in the Robert Yeager Day Program until July, 2004. Sister Colette was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Catherine Healy and Anne Doll.

Her two nephews, Dennis and Walter Doll and their wives, Marlene and Alice, and her nieces and nephews survive her. She is loved and missed by her religious community and her family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February10, 2006 at 1 PM at the Chapel at Ascension Cemetery on Saddle River Road in Monsey, NY, with interment to follow. LEIDER, ALICE Alice Leider of New City, passed away on February 6, 2006 at the age of 74. Alice was born in Brooklyn, New York to Morris and Molly Maltz, on July 22, 1931. Alice and her family moved to Spring Valley, in 1964. A talented homemaker, Alice raised her four children, Joel, Robert, Donald and Karen. In 1987, she went back to school to learn computer programming and worked for Winchester Systems for two years.

In 1989, Alice moved to Del Ray Beach, FL. to care for her mother Molly, which lead to her career in home health care. She worked for Vitae Services of Boyton Beach, FL. for a period of ten years, retiring in 2001. Alice moved back to Rockland in April of 2005 to be closer to her family, especially her twelve grandchildren who adored her.

Alice is survived by all her children and her sister Judith Karman of Seminole, Florida. Alice was predeceased by her brother Daniel Maltz in 1985 and her ex-husband Burton Leider i in 2002. Alice was a voracious reader with a wide variety of interests, and enjoyed fine dining and dancing. Alice was a fiercely independent woman whose passing leaves a tremendous void in our family. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all her loved ones.

She had lots of friends." She also is survived by her father, Richard. FELDI, IGNAZ Ignaz Feldi of New City, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Nyack Hospital. He was 92. Ignaz was born in Yugoslavia on February 1, 1914. The son of Martin and Maria (Ries) Feldi.

Ignaz was a long time employee of the Clarkstown School System in New City before his retirement. Ignaz is survived by his wife Anna (Richter) Feldi, his children Martin Feldi and wife Marianne, and Katherine Feldi. His grandchildren Karin Hastings, Marco Feldi and wife Patricia, grandchildren Brittany and Nicholaus Hastings, Anton and Erik A sister Katherine Grober. He was predeceased by three sisters; Rosalie Richter, Magdalena Fersch and Maria Lamper. Ignaz loved and lived for his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald E. Fricke formerly of Nanuet, NY died February 7, 2006. He was 88. Donald was born July 26, 1917 to Martha (Annyl) Fricke and Dr. Louis T.

Fricke in Brooklyn, NY. He was educated in publie schools, later graduating from the New York College of Music as a voice major, where he met his wife of 52 years Eleanor who predeceased him in 2002. He spent several years touring with opera companies and concertized with an operatic quartet. In addition he was soloist in numerous churches in the tri-state area and sang most of the standard oratorio repertoire. He and his wife maintained a music studio, teaching piano and voice.

He served from 1942 to 1945 as a Sergeant with the 11th Air Force in the Aleutian Islands during World War II and was honorably discharged. He also worked as a manager for banks in Rockland County and retired as a vice-president from Barclays Bank NY.
